Visiting Sethia Hemraj Rice Oil Company Limited for the second time, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee expressed his joy and excitement when knowing that Company is gradually overcoming difficulties due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic; production recovery. After a period of investing in the factory, completing the line, equipment and machinery, this enterprise from India has operated a factory to extract oil from rice bran; serve for export and has now released to the market first product batch.
In the past time, the enterprise has maintained its operation under the “03 on-site” plan with about 120 workers, and at the same time has completed “on-site medical” to meet the requirements under the “04 on-site” plan. The current difficulties of the Company are lack of labors, lack of raw materials for rice bran and limitations in transportation, etc.
New Hope Aquatic Feed Company Limited is an enterprise with investment capital from Singapore. During epidemic, Company strives to maintain operations under the “03 on-site” plan. On September 7th, due to the failure to ensure “04 on-site”, the Company suspended operations to complete the plan, with more than 110 employees.
At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee – Mr Pham Thien Nghia assigned Sa Dec City People’s Committee, the Management Board of the Provincial Economic Zone and related sectors to urgently support the Company to complete the dossier on “on-site medical care” under the “04 on-site” plan and thoroughly appraised, if all conditions are met, it will be allowed to resume operations as soon as tomorrow September 10th, without affecting the production and business of the company.
With the care and support from provincial leaders, the representatives of companies expressed their excitement, consider it as a great motivation to work with the government to gradually adapt and restore production activities.
